HKV SE OGLASIO! ŠTO ČEKAJU DRUGI?

Priopćenje HKV-a o pismu upućenom državnoj tajnici SAD gospođi Hillary Clinton

 

Hrvatsko kulturno vijeće uputilo je državnoj tajnici Sjedinjenih Američkih Država, gospođi Hillary Rodham Clinton pismo sljedećega sadržaja:

Poštovana gospođo državna tajnice Clinton,

američki odvjetnički tim pod vodstvom g. Gregory Kehoea i g. Luke Mišetića uspješno je branio hrvatskoga generala Antu Gotovinu pred Međunarodnim kaznenim sudom za bivšu Jugoslaviju, te pobio sve točke optužnice. U tom poslu potporu su im pružale stručne službe iz SAD na čemu američkom narodu i Vama osobno duboko zahvaljujemo.

Kao državnu tajnicu vodeće svjetske zemlje molimo Vas da spriječite pokušaje nekih krugova iz Bruxellesa da politički utječu na presudu Suda.

Pismo istoga sadržaja dostavljeno je na znanje veleposlanstvu SAD-a u Zagrebu kao i Ministarstvu vanjskih poslova i europskih integracija Republike Hrvatske.

U engleskom prijevodu tekst pisma glasi:

Dear Secretary Clinton,

The American legal team led by Gregory Kehoe and Luka Misetic successfully defended Croatian general Ante Gotovina before the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and refuted all counts of the indictment.

The legal team received great support in their work from the professional services in the United States for which we are deeply grateful to the people of the United States and especially to you personally.

As the Secretary of State of the leading world power we ask you to prevent attempts of some circles in Brussels to exercise political influence on the verdict of the Court.
