O POTREBI POLITIČKE ALTERNATIVE SDP/HDZ MONOPOLU PIŠE FRANO BUDIMLIC
CROATIA - REDIVIVA
When the majority of Croats, and I believe it is a majority, comes to realize that it is tired of betrayal, they will organize. Perhaps the latest barrage of anti-Croat sentiment from Belgrade, and, once again, absurdly from the nation's president, will awake the majority from the deep sleep and snap the Croatian silence. All honest Croats that
believe the country is worth the blood spilt for her freedom, need to mobilize. The SDP/HDZ monopoly needs to be broken, and a new political organization/party must be formed. Will the Croatians have the strength to realize that the SDP is nothing but the extension of the old Savez Komunista Hrvatske, and that the present HDZ has absolutely
nothing in common with the movement/party that won Croatia's freedom, liberated her and put her on the map under the leadership of Tudjman?
Let us hope so. After the two-headed political monopoly has raped and pillaged the old nation, what else remains? Pride, perhaps? Honesty? Decency? How about a foreign-free, truthful account and foundation for a Croatian future? Croats can begin again. And they have all it takes
to do so. Croatia's foundations are righteous. The nation was forged via the greatest of sacrifices. Her existence deserves better.
